Crown Disposal Co., Inc. currently has an exclusive contract with the City of San Fernando to provide waste and recycling services for all residential, commercial, and industrial customers, including construction and demolition hauling services. These services were the primary reason for the dramatic drop in citywide landfill tonnages from 2001 to 2006.
The City received an Innovative Organics Program award from the California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA) in 2007. The award recognized Crown Disposal's programs to recycle landscape materials, food waste, food soiled paper, and street sweepings from a wide variety of residential and commercial sources, as well as Crown Disposal's commitment to avoid the use of landscape materials as Alternative Disposal Cover materials (ADC) at area landfills.
Both residents and commercial businesses can contact Crown Disposal Customer Service Representatives at 818-504-1414.

Commercial Collection Services
Crown Disposal provides both frontloader and roll-off collection and recycling services to City of San Fernando businesses as well as construction and demolition companies working on city projects. All commercial waste is preprocessed prior to landfilling to remove recyclables at the Mixed Waste Material Recovery Facility operated by Crown Disposal's sister company, Community Recycling and Resource Recovery. All construction and demolition (C&D) debris is also preprocessed at Community Recycling's C&D Recycling Facility to remove recyclables prior to landfilling.
Restaurants in the City of San Fernando participate in a special Crown Disposal program to collect and compost leftover food scraps and food-soiled paper.
