LEED

Members of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), Crown Disposal uses a state-of-the-art processing facility in Sun Valley operated by our sister company, Community Recycling.  This facility has been audited and certified by the City of Los Angeles.

• Our recycling rate for mixed C&D is between 92%-96%  
• The diversion rate for inert materials is between 98%-99.9%.

The facility is accepted for use in all local municipal C&D ordinances and LEED projects.  We have been successfully involved in multiple LEED projects from Basic to Platinum.  Our reporting systems include identification of all loads by material type, weight, date, and disposition, which meet all of the requirements of these programs. We are also familiar with LEED reporting systems and can assist as needed.
